Anniversary Celebrants are given 1 personal admission ticket to attend their respective anniversary celebration. Anniversary Tickets are not transferable to another individual. If you are unable to attend, your comped ticket is forfeited.

Anniversary Celebrants may choose to insert an ad into the program advertising their decade(s) celebration, either jointly or individually. Submission whether jointly or individually is by the choice of the Anniversary Celebrant(s). The Anniversary Celebrant(s) are not given a comped page in the event program, and must purchase their own advertising space submission, by following the guidelines set forth below under “ADVERTISING”.


APPLY TO BECOME MR., MISS, MX., or MS. GAY PORTLAND:

Applications to apply for the titled positions of Gay Portland, will become available online July 1st, 2023. Please review the requirement information and understand your bylaw commitments before submitting your application.
Be sure to read the requirements of the Gay Portland titles in the current ISRC Operations Manual and Bylaws documents. These are available on the ISRC here
Make sure the application is mailed in time to be postmarked on or before the deadline of Monday, July 31, 2023. All Applications must be mailed; Applications postmarked after Monday, July 31, 2023, will not be accepted.
Be sure to include your application fee of $20.00 or your application will not be accepted. Please send Check, MO, or Cashiers Check made out to ISRC. Cash and online payments not accepted.

Be sure to have valid, State of Oregon photo identification when you come to Interviews
Qualified applicants will be invited to the Interviews which will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Darcelle VX, following the Court meeting at 7:00 PM

APPROVED CANDIDATES:
The Gay Portland Pageant is a VOTED pageant. Your peers from the Portland community will have the opportunity to vote for you, so the more people you bring to the pageant, the better!
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CANDIDATES:

You will have to opportunity to campaign for votes! Campaign will run August 18th – August 25th.
IMPORTANT: Once you are approved by the Board of Directors as a candidate you are NOT permitted to publicly announce your candidacy (whether by word of mouth, social media, or otherwise) until the night of Announcement of Candidates – more information will be given to you the night of interviews, if you are approved as a candidate.

NIGHT OF THE PAGEANT:

You will have 3 opportunities during the evening to showcase yourself and show why you are ready to become the next Gay Portland titleholder(s):
1st Look
Theme Wear
2nd Look
Formal Wear with emcee/candidate Q&A
3rd Look
Talent Presentation
Voting will be open following the 1st Look – Theme Wear of ALL candidates, and will remain open until 10 minutes after the final candidate Talent Presentation.
Voting is open to residents of Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, and Washington Counties who are 21+ Years of age and have Valid Oregon State Photo ID.
